"Support was actually helpful"
I had a problem getting into my account and thought it was going to be a whole thing, but support replied faster than I expected. Maybe I was just overthinking it, because they were really nice and explained things clearly. It did take a little while to fully fix, but overall I was happy with how they handled it.

"Easy to use and it hasn’t let me down"
I’ve been using the Showtime app for a while now, i was kind of expecting some catch or annoying glitch to pop up because apps like this can fool you at first. But so far it’s been really smooth. Shows are easy to find, it remembers where I left off, and the menus don’t make me feel like I’m being sent in circles. It loads fast on my phone too. Nothing really to complain about, it just does what it’s supposed to do.

Getting the account set up was okay overall, just took a bit longer than I expected. I was doing it while drinking coffee at my kitchen table, so it wasn’t a big deal, but I did find myself waiting around for a minute or two. Nothing terrible, just not super quick.

Support did eventually fix my login issue, so I appreciate that. But waiting two days felt a bit too slow for something that was keeping me from getting into my account.

Umm, the showtime app has been good on my Samsung TV. It loads fast most nights and the picture looks clear. I did have it freeze once, but restarting the app fixed it easily

I had to reset my password on showtime.com, and it did work in the end, but the reset email took longer than I expected to show up. It wasn’t a huge deal, just kind of frustrating when I was ready to watch something. Feels like a preventable hassle...

I mostly use showtime.com because it somehow keeps putting things in front of me that I would actually watch, which is not always how these sites go for me. The recommendations feel like they are based on my taste and not just, you know, whatever is popular and being shoved everywhere, so that is nice when I am not in the mood to scroll for like a whole lifetime.

The site itself is easy enough to figure out, nothing too confusing or anything, and I have found a few shows that I probably would have missed if it did not suggest them. It is not perfect every single time, because obviously no thing is, but it has been better than I thought it would be. 5 stars from me.

I like the app overall, and the shows are decent. But I don’t know why it starts buffering so much at night, and some pages just take forever to load. It’s not a terrible experience or anything, I just wish it felt a little smoother.

I usually use SHOWTIME on my laptop, and logging in has been painless for me. My email and password worked right away, and I appreciate that it remembers me for a while so I’m not constantly signing back in.

There was one time when the verification code took longer than it should have, and I had to resend it. It wasn’t the end of the world, but it was definitely annoying when I was just trying to start watching something quickly.

Overall, the login process feels secure without being overly complicated, which seems like the fair way to do it. I’d rather they protect people’s accounts properly than make things careless, but it would be nice if the codes came through a little faster every time.

"Good originals, worth it"
I mostly keeped Showtime around for the original shows. A few of them are really good and feels different from the usual stuff on other apps. Not every series was hits for me, but overall the quality is solid. I’d give it 4 stars.

"Canceling was actually easy"
I was expecting canceling SHOWTIME to be a whole thing, but it really wasn’t. I found the option, clicked through a couple steps, and that was basically it. Support had said something like, “You can cancel anytime from your account settings,” and for once that was actually true. I got the confirmation right away too, so no weird hoops or waiting around. Painless overall.

"Free trial wasn’t worth the hassle"
I signed up for the free trial, and I don’t know why, but canceling it ended up being way more annoying than it should’ve been. The app also kept buffering on me, which got frustrating fast. Overall, it just wasn’t worth the headache for me.

I mean, the shows are good, so I do keep using it, but the app itself is frustrating. It freezes a lot when I’m trying to watch on my phone, and sometimes it just logs me out for no real reason. The video also buffers even when my wifi is totally fine. So yeah, the content is decent, but actually using the app gets annoying most nights.

"Navigation is okay, but a little clunky"
I used showtime.com to look for a series and check a few account things. The main menu is straightforward, and the search worked most of the time, so I wasn’t totally lost or anything.
Some parts just feel kind of buried, especially billing and device help. I’m not sure how to explain it, but I ended up clicking around more than I thought I’d need to. It’s not awful, just not as smooth as it could be.

"Good shows, but the app keeps messing up"
I do like a few of the shows on here, so I keep trying to give it a chance. But my quick rule is if every other streaming app works fine on the same Wi-Fi, it’s probably not my internet. This app freezes, kicks me out, or hits me with the “try again later” message way too often. When I’m paying for it, I kind of expect it to just work. Frustrating.

"Billing was off again"
My bill came through with the wrong charge again, so I had to contact support. They did fix it, but it took longer than it should have, which made the whole thing more frustrating than it needed to be.
